As a Texas Tech alumnus I can categorically state that I hated those guys.

But what reason would Perry have to beat them soundly? I have seen nothing that tells me Perry will fight corruption. As a politician, unless he’s a rare exception, his nature will be to embrace it.

I suppose it depends on the corruption. A long as Perry is for shrinking the size of government, the corruption will shrink with it. Same goes for Supreme Court nominees. Perry may be a flawed guy, but so long as he installs pro-freedom, pro-life, pro-gun justices, it will have a greater effect overall for good than the harm done if he cuts some Texas business buddy of his a deal.

Given the massive, flagrant corruption that Barack Obama engages in, using the power of the Presidency to support certain companies, certain unions, and certain industries, I really can't say that I'm sweating the occasional good old boy deal under the table. Ideally that sort of thing wouldn't be tolerated, but in our current situation, where there's constant assaults on our freedoms and basic viability as a nation, minor corruption's not a front burner topic.

I prefer Perry, but if Palin gets the nomination for the general election, I will vote for her and will do what I can to convince others to do likewise.

Nope not at all. I never visit that site. Just because I don’t agree with the herd mentality and group think here doesn’t mean I am a liberal DUer.

Why is it so hard for some of you to take a good long objective look at Palin’s record? I did that and frankly don’t buy all of her excuses.

If she wants to be POTUS then her quitting history is fair game to examine.
