WASHINGTON -- The White House is making it easier for people to press the federal government to act.

It is bringing that age-old constitutional right to petition one's government into the digital age with a new webpage, "We the People," where members of the public will be able to create and sign petitions seeking the government's action on a range of issues.

P.S.

For example, when you try to connect to FREE REPUBLIC you probably pick it from your FAVORITES or BOOKMARKS (same thing, IE calls them favorites, Firefox calls them bookmarks).

That bookmark has a URL (Uniform Resource Locator) listed for the site FREE REPUBLIC that is actually “WWW.http://www.freerepublic.com/perl";.

BUT, to find Free Republic, out on the internet there is a bunch of large URL/IP libraries which take the URL and give back the NUMERIC ADDRESS (IP) which is what the internet uses to weave it’s way from your computer to FREE REPUBLIC’S Computer System(website).

IP’s look like this: 71.246.54.110

I.E. a DEWEY DECIMAL SYSTEM for computers. Instead of card catalogs and shelves, you have home computers, and websites.

Make Sense?

YES!!

And HELL NO am I going to hide my IP or my email address!!!

SCREW THEM. THIS IS STILL AMERICA, I AM STILL A CITIZEN AND I AM NOT GOING TO HIDE FROM THESE A-HOLES.

Plus, I reported myself to flag@whitehouse.gov 4 or 5 times for having “impure thoughts about Obamacare” LOL using my REAL name, REAL address, REAL email and REAL telephone number so I’m sure I’m on a list somewhere already. AND THAT’S FINE.

Come and get me, you fedgov pinheads....

>The White House phishing for the names and addresses of potential ‘RAT “voters”. Sign one of these petitions and Barry’s union thugs will be pounding on your door “within 30 days”.<

I would invite them in ...

It does. Thank you, but I don’t think I can figure out how to do it. So, if I have remarks to say they will just have to come and get me. But, thanks for taking the time to explain.

Was he ever a professor? I don’t think so...I believe he was “instructor” status when he taught college classes.

Yes that’s correct. Often incorrectly called a prof by the MSM and various Baraqqi partisans. Another reason to infer that Baraq didn’t exactly rip the LSAT and become a curve breaker at Harvard Law.

He was as much a Professor as he was a US Citizen! Both were honorary, I’m sure!

After all, The L.I.E. Media would have reported the truth to us as they always do about politicians that THEY like!

Thank you, but I don’t think I can figure out how to do it.

You are welcome, but I don't really think there is much for you to 'figure out' or 'do' about it.

You can 'hide' your IP ADDRESS by using a PROXY (route your internet traffic to a website that ACTS like it is the final destination, but really passes it on to you.

Doing so is pretty much a waste of time, though, as they can still figure out where the data ends up. There is NO ABSOLUTELY SAFE method to hide your IP ADDRESS. It is a matter of RECORD to begin with.

Because you get WINDOWS updates from the internet (automatically), MICROSOFT has a record of your computer's SERIAL NUMBER, which it uses to FIND your computer. That SERNO is linked with the IP ADDRESS. Your Internet Provider (that's what IP stands for) has your name, address, phone number, and probably your Bank Account info.

Total 'invisibility' on the internet is really a myth.

Well, I guess I’m on “the list” at Senator Mary Landrieu’s office:)

If things go obama’s way my son will be visiting me in the big house with a saw in a cake.
