To: Alas Babylon!
That's a pretty good theory.
Prince is a genius though - he gets a free pass from me on his fashion decisions.

That's on the Valley Girl soundtrack, featuring a young, pre-breakdown Nicholas Cage.

Of course! Don't get me wrong. I really like Prince. In the late 70’s/early 80’s, his music transcended so many genres. Hell, I even liked Sheila E. and the rest of the Minnesota Sound.
But if there's one thing I heard back then, it was that Prince was gay.

For some reason, I had a flash of ‘Faulty Towers’ ;...”whatever you do, don’t mention the War!”.

That's on the Valley Girl soundtrack Thanks - I wasn't aware of that.

The line referred to Boy George.

Funny thing is, I usually skip that song when playing Brothers in Arms, it’s the weakest song on the entire album.

Meat Loaf, Cheryl Crow, also did it, the original group was the best.

The Song “Black Betty” popularized by Leadbelly in a blues song is actually a British marching song - an ode to their firearm - a rifle they called “Black Betty” forged in Birmingham England.
She's always ready. She keeps me steady.

Whiny do-nothing rich c-words bitch about how they are underappreciated by people who work for a living. Ruling remains that the song still sucks.
