UNITED NATIONS — A United Nations review has found that Israel’s naval blockade of Gaza is legal and appropriate but that the way its forces boarded a Turkish-based flotilla trying to break that blockade 15 months ago, killing nine passengers, was excessive and unreasonable. . . .

The article contains this gem straight out of the Cliff's Notes handbook on Martin Buber: "Like so many elements of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the events on the Mavi Marmara produced two fiercely competing narratives, each full of self-justification and contempt for the other."

Oh, the Horror! Contempt for the Other! It's all so tragic.

The one tragedy I see here is that Turkey is the country asking for an apology. Israel is the country that should be asking for an apology, from Turkey. The Turks are the ones who sent a ship to break a perfectly legal embargo so that terrorists and lunatics could stock up on weapons and do a better job of murdering Jewish civilians.

On the other hand, we do have the miracle of the UN report saying that Israel's blockade is legal. That shouldn't be overlooked either.

It might be a 'miracle' but it's not enough to keep supporting that corrupt organization. The UN's a liberal elite dictator protection agency.

A look between the lines of the miracle may yield the un smells change (real change) in the air.

This is just more of the usual “disproportionate response” crap.
