Obama makes Trump's case on affirmative action
WND ^ | August 31, 2011 | Jack Cashill

In April of this year, after persistent badgering by MSNBC's Chris Matthews, veteran commentator Pat Buchanan said the obvious about President Barack Obama: "I think he's affirmative action all the way."

Matthews had been goading Buchanan to defend similar comments made by Donald Trump in his short-lived shot at the presidency. "How does a bad student go to Columbia and then to Harvard?" Trump had asked. "Let him show his records."

"By charging that Obama was not admitted based on merit," the Nation fretted in an articled headlined "Confronting Trump's Coded Racism"

...Had any of the above critics checked with Barack Obama, however, they might not have been quite so quick to cry "ugly strain." In a 1990 letter to the Harvard Law Record defending the Harvard Law Review's affirmative-action policies, Obama openly confessed to being an affirmative-action baby.

In a rare honest moment, Obama described himself as someone "who has undoubtedly benefited from affirmative-action programs during my academic career, and as someone who may have benefited from the Law Review's affirmative-action policy when I was selected to join the Review last year."

More from article

Obama argued that HLR's affirmative-action policies did not lead to lower editorial standards, did not suggest undeserved success and did not stigmatize presumed beneficiaries.

...Obama would further undermine his case by not contributing a single article to any law journal anywhere at any time, surely a first for the president of the Harvard Law Review.

It opened doors for Obama to many opportunities, yet he still has a chip on his shoulder ; wants Social Justice from an unfair system. DOJ, Holder acts as the racial disrimination police.

Of course Obama is an affirmative action president. It is not like there is any other path to such a high office for someone with such a mediocre track record.

The only reason Obama is now in the White House is because he is black. Democrats voted for him over Hillary because he is black. Then a ton of White people voted for him because he was black.

They wanted to give a black man a shot to be president ... it seemed like the fair thing to do at the time. Let the black guy win this round.

In Illinois, the GOP ran Alan Keyes against Obama to ensure that Illinois would have a black senator. That’s fine.

Now we all get to live with the consequences of Barack Hussein Obama being our president and Eric “My People” Holder being in charge of the Justice Department.

We have the “Wise Latina” on the Supreme Court. NASA no longer goes to outer space. It promotes diversity. Obama has given amnesty to illegal aliens to win the support of La Raza and Gutierrez in 2012.

But hey, we got a black president ... it doesn’t matter really matter that we are plunging into the Second Great Depression (or worse) ... the USA has a black president!

Here are some items I believe are facts. If anyone knows different, or if I've made a mistake, then comment and let me know.

Obama didn't make the dean's list at Columbia University. This is a matter of public record. I believe he majored in Political Science which is not all that difficult. But his records are sealed so we don't know his grades.

Harvard Law School is the #1 Law School and the most difficult Law School to get into. If you do not have grades that are at least at the deans list level, it's impossible (or nearly impossible) to get into Harvard Law. Your law boards are very important. My understanding is that the vast majority of Harvard Law Students score in the upper 1% of those who take the exam (certain minorities excepted of course).

Now we know that Obama is NOT a humble man. If he had scored in the upper 1% of those taking the Law Boards we would know about it- big time.

So based on this, it would be inconceivable that Obama got into Harvard Law School on anything other than Affirmative Action, and big time affirmative action at that.

Have I made any mistakes?

You know he’s dumb, he hides his records and he has others do the same probably under threat but we are not allowed to question this or any black man or woman for fear of being called a racist, right

I you give a toy to a child, he won't respect it.

If he pays for the toy himself with money he's earned, he'll cherish it.

Human nature.

Similarly, Michelle benefitted from affirmative action. No way she goes to Princeton, otherwise. Yet, you can read her unintelligible senior thesis, and realize that she deeply resented the "gift".

Excellent point, and it makes one even more curious as to who exactly pulled the strings here.
