Posted on 09/02/2011 11:01:13 AM PDT by RatherBiased.com
The NBC and ABC morning shows on Friday indicated a growing impatience with not knowing Sarah Palin's presidential plans. NBC's Chuck Todd declared of the Labor Day holiday, "I think one thing about Sarah Palin is that this is her last weekend to cry wolf, essentially."
Over on Good Morning America, George Stephanopoulos talked to reporter John Berman and insisted, "But, as you point out, the longer she stays out [of the 2012 race], actually, the less relevant she becomes."
The ex-Alaska governor will be visiting New Hampshire and Iowa over the long weekend. Berman expressed bewilderment about Palin's intentions, endorsing a late night comedian's insults: "Maybe the comics have the best idea of what she's doing.
He then played a clip of host Jimmy Kimmel dismissing, "Sarah Palin says she's studying a possible presidential bid still. She says she's weighing all of her option, should be ready to make a decision by December of 2012."
Speaking of Palin, NBC's Todd lectured Palin to reveal her motives: "She needs to do something. She can't just simply say, "'Hey, I'm still thinking about it.' This race will pass her by if that's it."

Worry bout Barack Nojobsama and not Sarah
The poor dears. They still just don’t know what to do.
I iz, N Ur Haed taknig up allz Ur T0ughtz!!!
There's also a lot of this feverish impatience infecting FR these days. Remember that the Presidential election is in November 2012 and NOT November 2011.
Watching the MSM squirm, is worth the wait. Take your time Sarah, good things come to those who wait.
So according to NBC, she is irrelevant, yet they are covering her and are begging her to make a decision..Hey NBC, maybe you should be focusing more on the fact that your messiah is a DISASTER and an international joke instead of worrying what Sarah Palin is going to do. Keep it up Sarah..she is messing with their commie heads and I am enjoying every minute of it. She runs, she wins and they know it!
making MSM heads explode from coast to coast
Whoa! The primaries start next week?
Sarah Palin, Expert Media Troller!
Haha, anything that confounds Chuck Todd and makes him pee his pants is OK with me!
Just like during her bus tour, they’re crying because Sarah won’t tell them where she’s going.
Born February 11, 1964 in Sandpoint, ID (Meets the Jus Soli Requirement)
Charles R Heath, born in ID
Sarah Sheeran, born in WI
Both parents were US Citizens at the time of her birth (Meets the Jus Sanguinis Requirement)
Sarah Palin is a NATURAL BORN CITIZEN
Barry Soetoro aka Barack Hussein Obama ISN'T!
She has got to be lovin’ this.
They presume to be able to control her timetable. What a crackup. I think she should wait until May. I thik we really WILL see some heads explode.
When does the 2012 race start?
I’m actually ambivalent about her getting in the race—I’d support her if she did, I’d probably support Rick Perry if she doesn’t. But man, do I love watching the MFM and the pundit class lose their collective crap over her. Hey Georgie, if she’s so bloody irrelevant and unelectable, WHY DO YOU KEEP OBSESSING ABOUT HER? She is so up in their heads right now, it’s almost past the point of parody.
Sarah plays the MSM like a fiddle! They just don’t seem to know the tune and it is driving them crazy, oops, crazier!
I’m just sitting. Waiting patiently. Imagining F. Chuck and all the slime at 1600 and the left side of the aisles on Capitol Hill whose eyes will melt and heads explode when they discover the size of Sarah’s continuous Money Bombs the moment she throws her hat in the ring!
I believe it will be well worth the wait.
Always worth repeating.
Ronald Reagan 13 November 1979 (Election was November 1980)
HAHAHAHAHAAHA! Hilarious how they sound just like some of the people on FR!
Why the rush? Perry, Romney and Bachmann are just now starting to attack one another. Let them do her work for her.
Of course, I thought Labor Day (tomorrow) would have been perfect- especially considering the unemployment numbers. But now, I'd love to see her make everyone squirm just a little longer.
I'm still intrigued with who she says is waiting on the sidelines with her.
“When does the 2012 race start?”
As soon as Sarah enters it! or not.
She is controlling everything about this early election cycle. It must be killing the MSM, and quite honestly, the camps of the other candidates.
Might I postulate that Sarah Palin and Obamugabe are playing a game of “chicken” which Gov. Palin will win.
He brings out his economic proposal and she ^uses^ that to launch her campaign. She is waiting on him (Heart: “You lie so low down in the weeds; I bet you’re gonna ambush me”)
In the ocean, the barracuda uses speed and deadly teeth in a directed and slashing attack to kill, taking flesh with its first strike and following up IF the prey is incapacitated. The morsel of flesh is enough but to gorge on the carcass allows the barracuda to hunt again.
Gov. Palin is looking for that “pound of flesh” that will incapacitate our Poseur-in-Chief.
Watching the MSM squirm, is worth the wait. Take your time Sarah
I just like the idea of the MSM pumping money into following her around hoping for that big scoop. I hope it developes into a big bill. I know they have the money to follow her around, I just like it being spent on following Sarah and not martinis. I don’t know, I get pleasure out of that notion.
ABC's John Berman Suggests Palin Politicizing Son's Iraq Service
September 11, 2008
"Good Morning America," reporter John Berman raised the issue of whether Alaska Governor Sarah Palin was politicizing her son's military service. Observing that Governor Palin will be giving a speech on September 11 at a deployment ceremony to send her son off to Iraq, Berman critiqued, "And it [the speech] will be open to television cameras. It's such a drastic difference from the way her own running mate John McCain handled his own son's deployment."
A few seconds later, Berman again referenced the deviations between McCain's son Jimmy, also in the military, and Palin's child. "Jimmy's six-month deployment came and went with hardly any public notice. Why? Because John McCain never mentioned it on the stump." He added, "That stands in stark contrast to what Governor Sarah Palin told more than 40 million viewers about her son during the Republican convention last week."
They want Sarah to announce now so they can go after her now..they are dying to trash this woman, they have been doing it since August 2008 why stop now..they are TERRIFIED of her, they know if she runs she has a great chance of winning and that scares progressives to death..makes them poop their pants
Let me get a full time job and I’ll start donating again. 6 months unemployed and looking to start eating into my 401K.
ABC’s John Berman: Sarah Palin Makes Mitt Romney Seem ‘More Reasonable’ and ‘More Secure’
June 02, 2011
Good Morning America correspondent John Berman on Thursday offered a sarcastic take on Sarah Palin’s tour, dismissing it as a “magical mystery bus.” He also spun a possible 2012 run by Palin as making fellow Republican Mitt Romney appear “more safe, a more secure, a more reasonable candidate.”
Anchor George Stephanopoulos introduced this concept by musing, “Maybe [the Romney campaign wants] her in the race after all, John. She gives Romney the perfect foil.” Berman described that as “exactly right” and added, “ And it might make the former Massachusetts governor, Mitt Romney, seem like a more safe, a more secure, a more reasonable candidate.”
ABC Chides Money-’Obsessed’ Candidates’ Fourth of July, Gushed Over Obama in 2007
July 05, 2011
Good Morning America’s John Berman on Tuesday offered a condescending, dismissive take on how the money “obsessed” presidential candidates spent their Fourth of July. Yet, four years ago, the same program offered a fawning look at what Barack Obama did on Independence Day.
After mentioning Michele Bachmann and Newt Gingrich, Berman suggested that the Fourth of July could be “a chance to take a break from their recent big obsession, cash.”
The journalist quickly followed this up by noting that the President has raised $60 million. Berman pointedly explained, “...Though he spent the day with men and women whose value is beyond priceless.” (This was a reference to Obama’s speech to U.S. troops at a barbeque.)
The LameStream press can suck it.
My prediction: Sarah will not run for President.
Sarah is considering running for Senator from Arizona.
Sarah will definitely be a playah for years to come—she need not run NOW. Hell, the girl is only, what, 46? Young enough to bide her time.
I love Sarah, just don’t think she will pull the trigger on a presidential run this time. She has a good life right now.
We did witness a few Palin supporters here at FR throw Sarah under the bus over the last few days. 1 fellow said he was burning his travel tickets for Iowa trip because of the initial story from WSJ Blog Wed morning, hopefully he returned to his sanity!
I want her to run also, but figure she is smart in being patient and allowing Perry to get beat up a bit. If she announced on Saturday, people would demand she enter the Sept 7 debate etc, so whatever she does she will be critiqued!
Go Sarah!!! I think if she really comes out against Perry (even not mentioning him by name) that should give us all enough encouragement that she is running!
oh she is SOOOOOOOO getting even with Katie
Go ahead, MSM - make her stop.
‘Toto, I have a feeling we’re not in 1979 anymore,’ ...
If she’s irrelevant then why are they talking about her? Incessantly? Doesn’t that make THEM irrelevant? Oh. Wait. They already are. They found someone that won’t jump through their hoops.
That’s one of the ideas floating about. I call it the Rove Dark Horse Theory (my name, not my original idea). In an attempt to answer the question, why is Rove and company trying so hard to get her to tip her hand early, some have proposed that Rove has a dark horse whom he wants to go in last, because going in last has significant strategic value. If he can pressure Palin to act prematurely, that leaves room for a last second entry by his purported dark horse. Who might that be? Christie? Jeb Bush? No one knows. But it does make some sense out of all the high pressure tactics aimed at getting an early signal from Palin.
Lots of effort to draw her offside, yes, but so far, no flag, and Team Palin still firmly in control of the ball.
I’ve noticed that too. Sarah has given her tentative timetable for an announcement, one way or the other. If it happens before that time, great, if not - wait. Don’t let the ankle biters, LSM, et al., use your impatience to sew dissension in the ranks.
D-Day prep didn’t happen overnight.
If you’re a supporter of hers, take her at her word. Those who are saying they’re done were probably never supporters to begin with.
