I have been a Family Physician since 1992 and there is no way even with SS will I have any where near 9,000 a year when I retire at age 70. Not even close and I max out my 401K and IRA every year and add a few more dollars on the side. I also have no children and never lived in a new house and drive a 1997 pick up truck.

My wife and I are retired teachers from Texas....Our combined pensions and SS are about a third of that 9000 a month!!!
