Solyndra might be bankrupt, but their website is still up: From the President's speech in 2010: Every day that you build this expanded facility, as you fill orders for solar panels to ship around the world, youre demonstrating that the promise of clean energy isnt just an article of faith -- not anymore. Its not some abstract possibility for science fiction movies or a distant future -- 10 years down the road or 20 years down the road. Its happening right now. The future is here.

That’s pretty funny right there!
I bet Solyndra isnt on his........
“Green jobs” are like the Yeti.....much talked about but never seen.
...No I'm not...
Maybe someone could put up a huge bronze sculpture of The 0ne at the rim of the smoking hole in the ground which used to be their factory.
Look it up next week....
Government Motors and Solyndra are winners in his book! Why NOT keep them around? He’ll just use them as examples of how free enterprise doesn’t work.
Bankrupt company, bankrupt country...
The head of Cypress Semiconductor was on Kudlow’s show today, talking about Solyndra. He had he predicted that it would be bankrupt in less than a year (govt boondoggle, poor technology, bad business plan).
What gave me a laugh was when he mentioned the palatial headquarters building Solyndra put up when they began business. One of Parkinson’s laws states that opulent headquarters are a sign of a “mature” company that has gone into in decline. I guess Solyndra was expecting to be spoon fed by the government forever.
That was to impress suckers I mean potential investors
Disclosure: IL is prolly worse than CA now, so no company would startup here. They'd be insane to do so.
So we lose $535M on Solyndra so now what are the dems fighting for?
Letting the Dept. of Energy ‘loan’ another $500+ Million for overpriced electric cars...
Perhaps the time has come to eliminate the Dept. of Energy.
Let the market decide. Solar will lose everytime...because of reliablity, cost, and rate of return.
If you want solar you have to buy Chinese or you’re just wasting your money.
