They're All in This Together
The American Spectator ^ | September 2011 | Alfred S. Regnery

Posted on 09/03/2011 11:16:55 AM PDT by yoe

Asked during the 2008 presidential campaign about his relationship with the left-wing radical Bill Ayers, Barack Obama replied that Ayers was just "a guy who lives in my neighborhood." He implied that to even bring that questionable relationship out of the shadows was a mean-spirited, guilt-by-association political tactic. Ayers, Obama went on, had done something deplorable "forty years ago when I was six or seven years old."

Otherwise, Obama insisted, Ayers was a paragon of virtue: a respectable fixture in mainstream Chicago, a professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago, on a foundation board focused on education that included "Republicans, bankers, lawyers." Ayers had even worked for, and was a good friend of, Mayor Richard M. Daley. The Obama campaign at once launched a crusade to distance Obama from Ayers. It went so far as to actually defend the man who had implicated himself in terror bombings in his own 2001 memoir, Fugitive Days.

In fact, Ayers and his wife, Bernardine Dohrn, were radical Marxist revolutionaries in the Vietnam War era. They were founders of the Weather Underground, a violent terrorist arm of Students for a Democratic Society. Both were eventually indicted in federal court, and Dohrn by the State of Illinois. Rather than face a trial they jumped bail and disappeared into the underground in 1970. After they resurfaced 11 years later, both were admitted into the halls of academia. Ayers became a Distinguished Professor of Education and a Senior University Scholar at the University of Illinois-Chicago. Incredibly, Dohrn became a law professor at Northwestern.

Obama studied communist "Black Liberation" theology under reverend Wright for 20+ years. Bill Ayers' Weather Underground also advocated (revolutionary communist) "Black Liberation".

"Their founding document [the Weather Underground's] called for the establishment of a "white fighting force" to be allied with the "Black Liberation Movement" and other "anti-colonial" movements[1] to achieve "the destruction of US imperialism and the achievement of a classless world: world communism."..."-Berger, Dan (2006). The Real Story Behind Rev. Wright's Controversial Black Liberation Theology Doctrine
Monday , May 5, 2008
FoxNews/Hannity's America
[special Friday night edition--original airdate May 2, 2008]

(some key excerpts)

["(Jose) Diaz-Balart is the son of Rafael Diaz-Balart y Guitierrez (a former Cuban politician). He has three bothers, Rafael Diaz-Balart (a banker), Mario Diaz-Balart (a US Congressman) and Lincoln Diaz-Balart (also a US Congressman). His aunt, Mirta Diaz-Balart, was Fidel Castro's first wife."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jose_Diaz-Balart]

JOSE DIAZ-BALART, TELEMUNDO NETWORK: "Liberation theology in Nicaragua in the mid-1980's was a pro-Sandinista, pro-Marxist, anti-U.S., anti-Catholic Church movement. That's it. No ifs, ands, or buts. His church apparently supported, in the mid-'80s in Nicaragua, groups that supported the Sandinista dictatorships and that were opposed to the Contras whose reason for being was calling for elections. That's all I know. I was there.

I saw the churches in Nicaragua that he spoke of, and the churches were churches that talked about the need for violent revolution and I remember clearly one of the major churches in Managua where the Jesus Christ on the altar was not Jesus Christ, he was a Sandinista soldier, and the priests talked about the corruption of the West, talked about the need for revolution everywhere, and talked about 'the evil empire' which was the United States of America."

REV. BOB SCHENCK, NATIONAL CLERGY COUNCIL: "it's based in Marxism. At the core of his [Wright's] theology is really an anti-Christian understanding of God, and as part of a long history of individuals who actually advocate using violence in overthrowing those they perceive to be oppressing them, even acts of murder have been defended by followers of liberation theology. That's very, very dangerous."

SCHENCK: "I was actually the only person escorted to Dr. Wright. He asked to see me, and I simply welcomed him to Washington, and then I said Dr. Wright, I want to bring you a warning: your embrace of Marxist liberation theology. It is contrary to the Gospel, and you need, sir, to abandon it. And at that he dropped the handshake and made it clear that he was not in the mood to dialogue on that point."

Obama's Church: Gospel of Hate
Kathy Shaidle, FrontPageMag.com
Monday, April 07, 2008

In March of 2007, FOX News host Sean Hannity had engaged Obama’s pastor in a heated interview about his Church’s teachings. For many viewers, the ensuing shouting match was their first exposure to "Black Liberation Theology"...

Like the pro-communist Liberation Theology that swept Central America in the 1980s and was repeatedly condemned by Pope John Paul II, Black Liberation Theology combines warmed-over 1960s vintage Marxism with carefully distorted biblical passages. However, in contrast to traditional Marxism, it emphasizes race rather than class. The Christian notion of "salvation" in the afterlife is superseded by "liberation" on earth, courtesy of the establishment of a socialist utopia.

Catholics for Marx [Liberation Theology]
By Fr. Robert Sirico
FrontPageMagazine.com | Thursday, June 03, 2004

In the days when the Superpowers were locked in a Cold War, Latin America seethed with revolution, and millions lived behind an iron curtain, a group of theologians concocted a novel idea within the history of Christianity. They proposed to combine the teachings of Jesus with the teachings of Marx as a way of justifying violent revolution to overthrow the economics of capitalism.

The Gospels were re-rendered not as doctrine impacting on the human soul but rather as windows into the historical dialectic of class struggle. These "liberation theologians" saw every biblical criticism of the rich as a mandate to expropriate the expropriating owners of capital, and every expression of compassion for the poor as a call for an uprising by the proletarian class of peasants and workers.

"We believe in a Black first philosophy and a Black Liberation Theology."

_______________________________________________________

“Although it [The New Black Panther Party] says it sees capitalism as the fundamental problem with the world and “revolution” as the solution, the new party does not draw its influences from Marxism or Maoism as the original party did. Instead, in a carefully-worded, roundabout form of ethnic nationalism,[8] they say that Marx based his ideology and teachings on indigenous African cultures, and that the NBPP therefore need not look to Marxism or Maoism as a basis for their program, but can look to ideologies that stem directly from those African origins.”

It is far more effective to focus our efforts on his RECORD now that they cannot deny it.

THEN, GO DO IT!!! in the meantime don't focus your efforts in this thread!

All of this stuff is right out in the open. I lived through those years of the Weathermen and the Black Panthers, and I had heard most of these details before Obama was elected.

In other words, there’s nothing hidden about any of this.

Except that people have short memories, many were not around back in those days, and the press is determined not to mention any of this.

Except among themselves, since I’m sure they all take pleasure in the deeds of people like Bill Ayres. I’m sure they spend some of their off time sniffing coke and reminiscing about the good old days.

Yes, WE, or most of us know at least *some* of these details. But the info is meant to pass along to our idiot friends, relatives and acquaintances that STILL are not aware, or believe that it's been blown out of proportion, etc. Hopefully, we can convince them to open their eyes and actually look more deeply into what we've been trying to tell them. Also, the info can be picked up by others and passed along. Don't expect many here to sit on this stuff and be silent. That's idiotic, and potentially dangerous. The entire nation needs to know PRECISELY what we are dealing with with this administration.

So are you saying that we should totally ignore those who continue to this day to have influence over Obama’s policies and hence his RECORD?

That seems short-sighted imho. All of these leftist/ marxists are the ones drawing up Obama’s current policies...the very same policies that are destroying this country. It’s time for those Americans that are still asleep to wake up and smell the commies!

Just about the entire content of this posted American Spectator article could have been released by the McCain campaign in 2008 and made a major issue, likely to accrue to the GOP's benefit. Instead, the Ayers (and Dohrn) connection to Obama was introduced only as a last-ditch comment by McCain during a debate, deflected quickly by Obama's "just another guy in the neighborhood" retort.

The question remains: why did McCain and his people abstain from running hard against Obama's extremist connections and the entire 'Rat party's acquiescence to the likes of Ayers and Dohrn? That tact might have saved the country from much of the disaster we are experiencing now.

I don’t know how many times I’ve said to trolls and skeptics over the past few years that it really is possible to walk and chew gum at the same time.

Which is to say that you can attack Obama for being a Communist, or a Muslim, or a man with terrorist pals, or a man who hides all of his records, or a man who is probably an illegal alien.

Sure, you can also attack him for being stupid, an insane narcissist, a man who does no more than 15 minutes of work a week. But there’s no rule that you can’t ask to see the REAL birth certificate just because he’s also a raving lunatic in office.

You can even mention that the way he reads from his teleprompters, back and forth, back and forth, he has a curious resemblance to a metronome.

There is a great deal of existing information about BHO2 that should have been made public, particularly by conservative talk radio shows, that was NEVER discussed.

I’ve always believed that was terrible, and resulted in the mess we have now.

It takes courage during times like ours to stand-up to threats and tyranny, to do what is right and just. Benjamin Franklin was correct when he inferred that a Republic is difficult to keep. Now we know why.

Who ever wins the GOP nomination will have to fight the Democrat Regime and their socialist media accomplices.

Combining the liberal money machine that drives their anti-American agenda, the Republican Party will have to fight an even more dangerous enemy - the dirty, rotten, lying media.

Keep that in mind when listening to the POLITICIAN who we will be supporting. He or she is going to have to (like it or not) talk around the issues at times. M

Flame me all you want, but the fact is, if the Republican nominee doesn't walk on egg shells during the election, the media will lie, cheat and steal the election for Obama.

Because the GOP knew the economy was going to tank. The country was angry with Bush. The GOP didn’t want this election and threw it to the RATs. Remember, McRino said not once but twie we didn’t have to be afraid of Obama. Such a strange thing to say. Then they tried to get a relatively unknow as their VP and they knew she had baggage. Again, just part of the plan to throw the election. What they didn’t count on was that America fell in love with Sarah so they quickly shut her up and probably were instrumental in all the lies about her. McCain was vetted but Obama wasn’t - strange, again. Not a peep out of Hillary. Congress is ignoring it. The Supremes are “evading” it. All because at this late date, they would all be found to have blood on their hands. Yes, they ALL are in on it together.
