I enjoy political hardball as much as the next reporter. It’s barely concealed truth that campaign journalists, like the operatives we cover, love negative campaigning and revel in OTT insults and martial rhetoric. Even candidates often lapse into the language of “rip his throat out”, “tear his eyes out” or “drive a stake through her heart”.
It’s no secret either that many Republicans despise Democrats with a passion and vice versa. Just as British MPs hide their contempt of their opponents by referring to them as “the honourable member’, American politicians have their own, albeit less formal, ways of masking their true feelings with anodyne language for public consumption.
But the statements today by Jimmy Hoffa Jr and Vice President Joe Biden demean the presidency and, tactically speaking, are stupid own goals

--It's not the curse words -it's the open threat of violence against free citizens =-coupled with a reference to being Obama's army (he previously wished for a citizen army (red guard?)to use against the people? Chicago is notorious for "taking people out" Chicago is the base for Obama's regime, the home of his cronies.
When adding the white House ties to gun running by the Obama administration -thought to be a ruse to take away the good guys' guns (why? what do they intend to do to an unarmed populace?) Things are much bigger here than a desperate union thug making noise.
--.... If anything Obama will speak out that he is proud of Hoffa's stance. Obama wants the laundered campaign money from employee's Union dues. That is typical of Democrats these days, money over principle.

We already know Biden often runs his mouth with his brain disengaged but the rhetoric coming from Waters and Hoffa is geared toward the incitement of violence and may very well be accompanied by thugs to put action to those words.

I am not expecting Obama to denounce this hateful rhetoric any more than I am expecting pigs to start flying or hell to have hockey rinks.
Since the teamsters signed off on the Consent Decree the DOJ effectively runs the union under a federal trusteeship
