If I change my mind about Perry, it will be by his doing alone, not by listening to other misguided opinions. (Take no offense by that.) I come from Military cloth, and Rick Perry, very much belongs to my strong band of Brothers. He served, still serves, and is a man of high honor in my opinion.

I find myself in agreement with you. Isn't that scary?
While I support Perry, I'm not ready to join in the Palin bashing. But a lot of the Palin supporters are rabid Perry bashers.
I was a Palin supporter up until this week. I had declared that if she did not announce by the speech last Saturday that I was going all in for Rick Perry. Her decision to not make a decision (she didn't have to "officially" announce; she could have just said that "yes, I plan to run") makes her appear to be indecisive. And frankly, we need someone who can make decisions (even on occasion the wrong ones).

If you have to compare Perry to Obama to make him look good that isn't saying much for your candidate. :-P
I don't really expect to sway anyone's opinion though it has happened.
And Perry may have served, so did Kerry, so did McCain, heck, so did Jimmah Carter. It's what they have done since and what they propose to do in the future that I'm concerned with. Do you support amnesty for ILLEGALs?
