There MUST be some political issue behind this because I’m sure as I’m breathing Perry said Cali was sending a tanker[s], I felt grateful to Cali for it, too. That was 7:30-8am-ish (central) yesterday morning.
The only other thing I could think of is Perry or somebody didn’t use the right channels/forms? to request it? That doesn’t make much sense because Perry has dealt with disasters before.
Something is wrong here...
Well, according to Cal Fire, "At this time, we have not officially received a request".
we have talked to them about what we can provide, knowing that we, too, are in the middle of fire season, and have been busy this last couple of weeks, especially....But if we do get a request, we’ll be happy to help.”
