Had the same thoughts. Have no idea what a stamp costs and can’t remember the last time I used US Mail service to send something (I get all kinds of crap to toss out).

How can legitimate elections be held locally or nationally without the USPO? Think Nov 2012 especially.

I operate an online photography business. 90% of my deliveries are done via first class mail. My shipping costs will essentially triple.

In addition, my clients that use PO boxes are going to be screwed.

Also, 90% of my clients pay me with a check.

While most of those “Bill Pay” checks are sent vie ACH transfer, many of them end up as printed checks that are delivered through the mail.

Once people get a sense of what it will cost to deliver a package, they will beg for the return of the post office.
