Video shows teens mob clerk, rob convenience store in Red Bird area of Dallas

Dallas police are investigating a convenience store robbery in which a group of teens attacked a clerk.

The melee, which was caught on video, happened last month at the Exxon Tiger Mart at South Polk Street and Interstate 20, WFAA-TV (Channel 8) reports.

A large crowd of young people entered the store about 10:15 p.m. and began throwing bottles at one another.

When the clerk confronted them and tried to close the door, someone in the crowd punches him, knocking him to the ground.

"Once they got me on the ground, I thought they were going to kill me," C.J. Thomas told Channel 8's Monika Diaz.

Fortunately, two girls helped him up and pulled him out of harm's way.

Seriously, I have never taken a journalism class but they must teach not to identify the suspects as black when a crime like this occurs. It’s getting beyond silly at this point when the race od the perps is not identified.

It's long been a thing in Sacramento. It was called swarming. It's a "youth" thing. Today's "youths" sometime skip sacking stores and substitute battering whites for fun.

On a recent CoastToCoastAM discussion of flash mobs it was decided that the Irish youths started this more than hundred years ago.. hooligans, you see. You should blame the Irish.. that was the only ethnicity C2C dared to mention. The Irish. It's their fault. They started it.
