Federal agents are executing a search warrant this morning at the Solyndra in Fremont, according to a FBI spokeswoman.
It is part of a joint operation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Department of Energy' Office of Inspector General, according to Julianne Sohn, a spokeswoman for the FBI.
The action by federal agents comes a week after the solar panel manufacturer abruptly closed, laying off 1,100 workers.
Sohn would not comment on the purpose of the search or what they might be looking for.
"Everything is under seal," she said.
There are indications that the agents are in the process of interviewing Solyndra employees.
A Solyndra spokesperson arrived at a staging area and could be overhead asking if employees should be told not to come into work.

I wonder if this was totally unexpected, or if they had a nudge-nudge, wink-wink warning. I’d better on the latter.

Funny thing here is that, as a conservative being faced with FBI questioning (and depending on the wording of the warrant), I’d probably tell the agent that I’m no longer an employee of Solyndra. As such, the warrant does not apply to me. (then let DOJ twist in the wind).
The Obama-voters employed by Solyndra wouldn’t be this intelligent, I assume.
Time to “Lewinsky” all the evidence.
For those that don’t remember, Monica’s apartment was “burglarized”, and all the “gifts” Bill had given to her were stolen. Back then the FBI wouldn’t do the dirty work.
They are just looking for the comrades that need “reeducation”.

This project is one big fraud.
The only problem is, if the FBI is involved, I seriously suspect their primary purpose would be to keep Obama out of it, because his is in the big middle of it.

So, that blocks the congressional committee that was supposed to investigate this fraud, under Congressman Light Bulb.
No doubt it will stay under seal until after the election, and then quietly go away.
