I tend to agree with you. Reality is settling in:
1) Perry is mortal after all. The debate helped clarify that.
2) Palin is beginning to take control of the center squares without even being officially declared. This emerging reality should be causing the lesser candidates to start looking over their shoulder.
I may have been a bit premature in some cases, however... :)
