Amen. Milton Friedman had lots to say about this - that there are real reasons to restrict illegal immigration in a welfare state.
Yet another reason to get rid of the welfare state. Seems to me that would be cheaper and more effective than building walls and checking papers and arresting people and deporting them.
And the welfare state is evil anyway. Illegal immigration or no, we shouldn't have it.
