what will they do if Perry picks Palin as VP or energy secretary? He will be Saint Rick all of a sudden.

Uh, no. Doubt she'd accept any "pick" from Perry unless he were actually sitting in the Oval Office and told her she had to take it, to save the country, or something.

Sarah loses, she goes home to Alaska, and Perry does whatever Perry was going to do, which doesn't include naming people like Palin to anything.

Perry likes RiNO's and soft-moderate Mexican-American Republicans of "some description" with lots of ties to the Bidness Community. That's who Rick likes. People named by his backers, no doubt -- that's who Rick does business with, whoever Mr. Big tells him to.

Perry is just pissed because she looks better with pom poms than he does.

Oooooooof! That's harsh.

but the networks were afraid to touch it since they at the same time didn’t want to offend were totally in the bag for, if not in the sack with, gays......

There. How's that?

New York Times editorial staff passed 50% gay/bi maybe 10 years ago (interpolating from remarks by one of their own -- they were at 75% gay/bi five years agos), and the gay presence in media is absolutely huge, people have no idea. Totally overrepresented, with a total veto practically everywhere over news content, editorial lines, everything.

Okay, thanks, they’d already been in the WH for 4 years and most people new there were differences at this point.

Nope. I remember. We didn’t know that Cheney supported gay marriage.

What’s wrong is the distinctive roles that a mother (and a father) have in a natural and normal family. Children need a male father AND a female mother present. Now, there are those who say those roles are interchangeable. Two Mommies - Two Daddies. That concept is rejected on this board. At least, I thought it was.

Huh? How did you go from stay-at-home dads (a role my dad played for three months out of the year almost all the time I was growing up) to it being the equivalent of condoning homosexual couples "parenting" children?

Wha ...???

You don't like Palin, fine. But really ... surely you can find something more substantial than this ridiculous "concern" to justify your objections to her?

RE :”I just watched the video in full screen twice-to make sure I didn’t miss any Perry jealousy towards Palin; the BOTS are claiming.

I watched the video this morning and it was pretty dull. it didnt match this thread theme at all. This looks like creating something out of nothing.

Like : “I will NEVER vote for Bachmann because .... said.....” Someone should compile a single list of everyone in media or politics who supposedly dissed Sarah by issuing a non-worship comment.

Yet Palin was on board with the TARP bailout and then .... chose to support McCain .... over the Tea Party Conservative JD Hayworth.

Uh, sorry, J.D. Hayworth had major slimeball issues of his own (you know, like personal honesty) that offered any number of reasons for anyone to support the incumbent. Hayworth stank, Palin endorsed her political benefactor and sometime sponsor.

Twist that anyway you like, your own biases are showing like stripes on a zebra.

Who did you say your candidate was, again, and why he or she displays more character than Palin?

I think Perry has a crush on Palin look at how he looks at her. Nugent has a normal look Perry just has that look beyond admiration.

All Todd has to do all day is ride snow mobiles, fish, hunt; have a few beers with his pals, while Sarah is bringing home the bacon. Not a traditional marriage, but if it works for them that's what counts.

LOL!!! Oh, man, yer killin' me!! Stop! {^)

Man o manischevitz ... the behavior and arguments of some Palin detractors speaks volumes about their mindsets!

jla, I'll bet you couldn't handle one week of trying to make a living in the commercial fishing industry, due to the physical demands alone. And being successful in that work requires a lot more than the physical ability to catch fish.

Keep posting -- Palin detractors like you, who can only put up petty and ignorant objections to Palin, are wonderful ambassadors for Palin in that a thinking person yet on the fence looks at your "style" and thinks, "Gosh, if that's what I'd be throwing in with if I decide to oppose Palin, maybe I ought to head in the opposite direction."

RE :”Somehow I think that Palin supporters would not consider themselves “bots” either. It appears you are a “bot” if you are supporting someone that the person who is calling you a “bot” does not.

A clear sign of a bot is when they respond to a non-personal critical comment with accusations of : ‘xxx-hater’ or ‘XDS’. Just this morning I got called a ‘Perry-hater’ for commenting on the Texas Dream act on a promote-Perry thread,

I pointed out how I was amazed how the (some) Perry-bots are copying the (some) Palin-bots talking points so closely , but the (some) Palin-bots started out by copying the Bush-bots ~2009 to 2010.

Do you guys all ping each other on these Palin threads?

Hint: When you see that it's a PALIN THREAD, you're MORE than welcome to STEER CLEAR since you seem to find them so OBJECTIONABLE.

No, my FRiend, I think that Sarah Palin was being honest when she gave her support to TARP. You, on the other hand, believe she was being dishonest. Yet you support her 100%. Interesting. You apparently think that Palin is better than Perry because she is honest and he isn't and she is more conservative than Perry, even though you believe that Palin was not being honest when it came to TARP and their stated policy positions are virtually identical.

Man oh man, I want you on my side if I'm in trouble!

This thread was an attempt to bash Perry on behalf of Palin. The headline was changed to reflect the bias of the poster.

All this does is further erode support for Gov. Palin. Tearing down a good candidate for someone who is not even running is a sure fire way to help the other side.

She and I disagree strongly about Juan. As HIS VP nominee, however, she had no choice but to endorse him front and center. It should comfort you to know that Hayworth ruined any chance that he had by appearing as a shill in that lying infomercial. Bob

Huh? How did you go from stay-at-home dads

I did not "go from stay at home dads". Someone else suggested that. What I do maintain that the best is the mother in the home. I don't really have much to say about all the second best situations.

You don't like Palin, fine. But really ... surely you can find something more substantial than this ridiculous "concern" to justify your objections to her?

Because it seems "ridiculous" to you does not negate it being yet another potential negative for Palin. It's a negative for a subset of the folks she needs to attract, and it may well be used as ammo by her opponents.
