Perry likes RiNO's and soft-moderate Mexican-American Republicans of "some description" with lots of ties to the Bidness Community.

Whoa, just back up there!

I count among my friends "soft-moderate Mexican American Republicans" as you call them and I do business with them. Is there something wrong with being a businessperson of Mexican heritage? If not, why is there anything wrong with liking them?

My point is that they are less conservative than most white Texans, the very Texans Perry came from himself, and more business-oriented, like the "good-government" RiNO's that cluster around the Bush family and form a pole of opposition to conervative Republican Texans -- opposition that we have seen play out:

Rick Perry's major political project has been identical to Lyndon Johnson's, of standing athwart the border with his feet jammed into the sluicegates, as his countrymen are swamped by a flood of new low-wage employees for amoral "pragmatic" nominally-Republican employers, with no thought to the state of the State or of his society's future. It's a con, a brutal one on a scale colossal, that may bring us a civil war and has already brought an ocean of budget, tax, and social problems, not to mention street crime.

No, and yes. Perry, and Bush/Rove before him, has hazarded a large enterprise on catering for Hispanics publicly (mi casa su casa etc.) with e.g. the "Dream Act" offering the children of illegal immigrants in-state tuition at Texas state campuses, as one example. He has politically authored and fostered other measures as well, involving e.g. cross-border insurance and health schemes that would serve populations in the zona fronteriza down in the Rio Grande Valley.

His political strategy is held forth as the Bush/Rove strategy of encouraging Hispanics to register and vote Republican -- the aforementioned appointees are billboards for this initiative -- in an effort to raise the Republican split among Tejano Democrats from 30% to more nearly 50%.

South and Central American immigrants -- legal ones who apply for citizenship and vote -- split their votes pretty much down the middle like the rest of the population according to their circumstances. But the Tejanos are very consistent in voting 70% majorities for the Democrats, and they are very conservative in their voting patterns, which replicate ancestral voting patterns two and three generations ago in Mexico, which is why NALEO dreams of realizing sufficient immigration from Mexico to make them the political masters of North America, with all the cultural conflict that that portends for the future (examples: Belgium, Bosnia, Quebec, Tibet, Lebanon, Cyprus, France).

Personally, I think the "strategy" is a fig-leaf, a rationalization of a far more fundamental relationship: the GOP is totally dominated by labor-intensive employers who have used, for 180 years, uncontrolled immigration to break wages of their workforces, and who will not desist until and unless, as in 1925, a political constellation firms up to stamp the public consensus on federal law, which will terminate the wage-breaking game and the Wall Street agenda of "reproletarization" of the American People through carefully premeditated and politically-covered destruction of their earning and negotiating power.

The RiNO leadership, in jamming the floodgates open, are showing their true agenda, and any chat about political co-optation strategies is just a screen for the true political agenda. That agenda can be summarized as delivering, for their Business Roundtable principals, the enjoyment of protected first-world prices, third-world wages, and out-of-this-world spreads between cost and price.
