On the bright side, there was no looting last night. I went outside and I never saw so many stars over San Diego. It this were Los Angeles, things would have been much different.

One of the local San Diego talk hosts commented the press were disappointed when they spoke to him about how things were going. They wanted chaos.
His comment reminded me of the wildfires and the thousands who were evacuated to the stadium. I distinctly recalled the national press were irritated it was calm and friendly, nothing like the NOLA hooligans for Katrina.
