No Bump

Bump from what?

The article from Rasmussen specifically says: Data for this update is collected via nightly interviews and reported on a three-day rolling average basis. As a result, most of the interviews for this update were completed before the president’s speech on Thursday night.

Between 1/3 and 1/2 of polling was done after the speech. If there was a significant bump, you would have expected to see it. The Monday numbers will all be post-speech, and I’m thinking they will be lower.

The Sunday numbers just came out, with 2/3 of the three day moving average being after the speech. O’s at -22 Approval Index. Abyss Index is still at -1 for three days running. He got a very slight bump in Strong Approve since the speech, but Strong Disapprove is unchanged at 43%
