TEA PARTY EXPRESS HOLDS RALLIES IN BLUFFTON, SC & JACKSONVILLE, FL SATURDAY

FROM THE ROAD: Tea Party Express, www.TeaPartyExpress.org, considered one of the most aggressive and influential tea party groups, will hold conservative tea party rallies on Saturday in Bluffton, SC and Jacksonville, FL today, Saturday, Sept 10th. 

The events on Saturday mark the final leg of a 30-city tour themed "Reclaiming America," that has featured presidential candidates such as Michele Bachmann, Mitt Romney, Herman Cain, and Buddy Roemer.

The Tea Party Express rallies have been described as a "rolling 4th of July show", and will feature Tea Party Express Chair Amy Kremer, Nevada Republican Senate Nominee Sharron Angle, Comedian and TV star Jim Labriola, Saturday Night Live star Victoria Jackson, Tea Party Nation founder Judson Phillips, radio host Andrea Shea King, Gold Star Mom Debbie Lee, and Patriot Action Network New Media Director Eric Odom.

The audience will be treated to musical performances by singer/songwriter Lloyd Marcus, The Rivoli Revue, soloist Diana Nagy, and even conservative rapper Polatik.

TEA PARTY EXPRESS ISSUES STATEMENT ON PRESIDENT OBAMA'S JOBS SPEECH

Tea Party Express Chief Strategist Sal Russo issued this statement today in advance of President Obama’s speech:

“President Obama’s performance so far has amounted to a succession of lofty speeches backed up by little substance, and he seems to be embarking on a similar path of proposals for more government and more spending. His contribution to the difficult debt ceiling debate was a speech in which he told Americans to “eat their peas.” In February Obama told the nation that jobs were his number one priority.  Yet last month, not one single American job was added. Not surprisingly, the President’s solution is yet another speech with old, unworkable solutions.

“Despite his rhetoric, Obama has repeatedly failed to deliver a plan with substance or meaningful action, but continually threatens those doing the real work with higher taxes and more government regulation. In speech after speech, the president disparages plans put forth to grow the economy, yet has failed to actually put pen to paper and submit a tangible document himself. The single notable exception was his disastrous budget proposal, which failed to garner even a single vote in Harry Reid’s Democrat-led Senate.

“When real action is needed, President Obama seems to always have other priorities. He has had ample time for golf and numerous vacations while free trade agreements with Panama, South Korea, and Columbia that were carefully negotiated during the Bush Administration have sat languishing for years, while he pandered to liberal special interests at the expense of growing our economy

“We at the Tea Party Express realize that Obama will continue his pattern of failure, and the only answer is for the tea party movement to work hard to put a capable conservative in the White House in November 2012.”

No rally today in honor of 9/11.

We will NEVER forget those we have lost on 9/11 and those who have fallen during our war against the Islamic terrorists.

May God Bless and comfort all the families and friends of those we lost as we join all Americans in prayer and remembrance.

TEA PARTY EXPRESS HOLDS 9/11 MEMORIAL IN DELTONA TODAY

FROM THE ROAD IN FL: Tea Party Express, www.TeaPartyExpress.org, will set aside political events today to hold a memorial for victims of the 9/11 attacks in Deltona, FL today from 11:30am - 1:00pm.

The Tea Party Express has been crossing the country on a 17-state, 30-city bus tour themed "Reclaiming America," that has featured presidential candidates such as Michele Bachmann, Mitt Romney, Herman Cain, and Buddy Roemer.

The Tea Party Express 9/11 memorial will feature songs by Deltona resident Lloyd Marcus, as well as the Rivoli Revue and soloist Diana Nagy. Gold Star mom Debbie Lee will also be featured.
