Cairo Mob Attacked CNN: 'They Were Animals

CNN journalists described the Friday mob that attacked them during the riot at the Israeli embassy as “animals.” One other journalist was called a spy and almost was raped.

The worldwide news site reported a scene that brought back ugly memories of the gang rape of CBS reporter Lara Logan earlier this year during the Arab spring uprising against the Mubarak regime.

CNN reported that one person in the mob on Friday called Dina Amer, a woman member of another American crew, “a spy.” A CNN producer who is an Egyptian approached to rescue the woman from the rioters, but “the mob overwhelmed the pair,” the network reported.

"I was thinking, how powerless I was because there was no police to save us," said the producer, Mohammed Fadel Fahmy. "I was worried that they were going to rape her."

Someone shouted to Fahmy that there was a nearby car, and he brought the “spy” into the vehicle, which belonged to a television crew.

“”Wanna bet that if this story gets wide circulation (doubtful) CNN will feel a need to apologize?””

Speaking of apologizing why have we not been reading about CAIR demanding apologies about something lately?

Cairo Mob Attacked CNN: 'They Were Animals

Everything would have been just fine if those CNN racists had just "reached out" and understood why the muslims were upset. Islam is a religion of peas, after all, and obama wants us all to eat our peas.

Too bad they didn’t get the Lara Logan treatment.

“Men are qualified for civil liberty in exact proportion to their disposition to put moral chains on their own appetites."

Great quote. I wish I had known of it when some self-described libertarian made a post here yesterday supporting homosexual "marriage" in NY.

...guess they weren’t animals when they were just attacking the Israelis - only when they hit on CNN.

Liberals only care when it's their ox being gored...

“After we went into Iraq and Saddam was neutralized, CNN admitted that they were intentionally not reporting about the atrocities they KNEW Saddam was inflicting on his people, so they could maintain access to him.”

Standard dictator/press interaction. Stalin was starving 20 million Ukrainians to death. To keep the press from reporting on it, he seized and put several Americans on trial. (An infamous “show trial.” Remember when VP Biden threatened to have a show trial for Bush?) The world’s press had the choice of coving Stalin’s show trial or covering the starvation of 20 million people. The press unanimously chose the trial. Why is it that a trial would garner coverage when the actual deaths of 20 million people didn’t warrant even a two-liner on page 12? Joseph Goebbels said: “The death of one man is a tragedy. The death of a million men is a statistic.”

Apparently it never occurred to the MSM that they didn’t need access to Saddam to cover him. But, then, it’s hard to craft a sympathetic anti-Bush story when the all you have to go on is the facts of what that dictator (Saddam, in case you’re the MSM reading this.) is doing. To be sympathetic, you need to show the human side where Saddam tussles the hair of a plainly terrified pre-pubescent male British hostage who well understands there’s a monster touching him.

Americans are like a cat. They can only look at one thing at a time. Imagine what didn’t get covered while OJ was on trial.

The gang rape of Lara Logan should have been a wake up call.

Why do we send journalists into dangerous situations like this?

Why do we send FEMALE journalists into such places?

Hate to get political, but western women journalists tend to be of a liberal feminist mindset. They can be naive about how the world outside of the U.S. and western Europe treats women. These female journalists may think that they are untouchable or have some exalted status in the rest of world, because they are western journalists. Lara Logan found out the hard way that they can become targets. It makes no sense to me that we continue to send women journalists into danger; into cultures who do not respect the rights of women.

And all of the journalists are naive about this whole Arab spring. The MSM narrative is that they are overthrowing dictators, wanting only to live in parliamentary democracy. They think of themselves as allies of the revolutionaries. But the revolutionaries do not have any reverence for the fact that a CNN news crew is reporting these stories to the world. Lara Logan should have been a wake up call that these are dangerous people. We may feel some sympathy for them as they overthrow dictators but these news people, with their western oriented outlook and liberal worldviews, should be smart enough to stay out of the way of danger.

So CNN, tell us, are you starting to understand who your friends are, and who ARE NOT your friends? A little, a wee bit, a smidgen of understanding coming through yet?

Libertarians support penetration of America by illegal aliens like Mohammed Atta just like they support penetration of a certain body orifice that is the raison d'etre of the sodomite.

I wonder when the politically correct members of the press and our government will realize that sending women to Muslim countries is putting them at risk physically—mot to mention the contempt shown to our diplomatic efforts when brought to Muslim rulers by female diplomats.

To their eyes, sending females to shores in positions of importance is an insult to their culture. We wouldn’t serve them port at a diplomatic dinner, why do we persist in shoving our women down their throats in the cause of Western values?

I read an article by a young, American black female progressive who traveled to Haiti to help after an earthquake. I’m not actually sure what she was doing as far as “help” goes. But she reports she was raped by a Haitian acquaintance she was trying to help; a fellow traveler. All the while she’s being raped she reports telling him things like: “Don’t do this to me. You’re just acting out your hatred of the white man.” I can’t imagine he could rape a woman who apparently never shut up and never caught on to the fact that her world view was irrelevant to this guy. (Incidentally, the rape was the fault of the oppressive white society that forced this man to do it.)

If enough feminist journalists get their butts kicked by women hating Muslims, maybe women in this country will pay more attention to who they vote for as President. Let’s see, if one is a Muslim, and the other is a Christian, which one should a woman vote for?

I’m wondering if CNN made up this story to divert attention away from the Israeli embassy attack.

These “friends” of Obama in the Middle East are no different than his “friends” in the USA (union members & feral inner-city population).

Just wait until he “mobilizes” them. It’s going to be a genuine nightmare if we fail to stick to our principles and stand our ground. Maxine Waters, Jimmie Hoffa, Jr., and the MSM are fanning the flames in an attempt to motivate/prepare them for mobilization against us.
