The Solyndra debacle is rapidly becoming a White House scandal.

Nah, it's Bush's fault.

“At the invitation of company execs, Barack Obama made a highly publicized visit to the Solyndra facility in Fremont, California in 2010. Just weeks before his visit to Solyndra, PricewaterhouseCoopers issued the results of an audit of the company filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission on March 16, 2010 that should have given the President and the White House considerable pause. Noting that in the first five years of operation the company had sustained $558 million in losses, the audit report said Solyndra ‘has suffered recurring losses from operations, negative cash flows since inception and has a net stockholders’ deficit that, among other factors, raise substantial doubt about its ability to continue as a going concern.’”

It is “felony stupid” for Obama and his handlers to allow the president promote and to fail to protect taxpayers from financial exposure to a company that has received a “going concern” audit opinion, aka the “death penalty” audit opinion.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Going_concern

“A going concern is a business that functions without the threat of liquidation for the foreseeable future, usually regarded as at least within 12 months.”

“Financial statements are prepared on the assumption that the entity is a going concern, meaning it will continue in operation for the foreseeable future and will be able to realize assets and discharge liabilities in the normal course of operations. This is one of the fundamental concepts of accounting.[1] Different bases of measurement may be appropriate when the entity is not expected to continue in operation for the foreseeable future.[2] Where a company is not a going concern, the break-up basis is used where all assets and liabilities are stated at Net Realizable Value.

“The company's auditor must consider whether the use of the going concern assumption is appropriate, and whether there are material uncertainties about the entity's ability to continue to operate as a going concern that need to be disclosed in the financial statements.[3] An auditor considers such items as negative trends in operating results, loan defaults, and denial of trade credit from suppliers in deciding if there is a substantial going concern issue.[4] An auditor who concludes that substantial doubt exists with regard to the appropriateness of the going concern assumption is required to issue an opinion reflecting this; a modified opinion if the company has appropriately disclosed the doubt and risks; and a qualified opinion if the company has not made appropriate disclosures.[5] These are called “going concern” opinions.”

Too bad GOP candidates don’t focus on stuff like this in the debates instead of destroying each other.

Let’s see...

Pigford II

Fast & Furious

Gulf Oil Drilling Moratorium while lending Petrobas 2 billion dollars for deep water drilling

Amnesty by Executive Order

And last but not least, using a SSN that was previously assigned to someone else who was born in 1890 and was residing in CT. Don’t think the powers at be in the dem party aren’t contemplating letting the sharks circle on the criminal-in-chief.

“The common response from people will be “they all do this, its nothing new””
/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

Sad but true Capn! I have not sat and watched our Marxist-in-Chief for a long time but I watched his entire acceptance speech in Denver just to be sure that I was not misjudging him. I heard him say that he would DEFEAT poverty, disease and climate change! I have mentioned that to a number of people and the common reaction even from those who voted for McCain is on the line of, “They all make promises they don’t keep.” I am amazed by that line of reasoning. My standard reply is, “Maybe so, but they don’t ALL make promises that could be kept only by an almighty God.” Even if one is gullible enough to accept that the first two MIGHT be within the power of humans, you have to be a complete fool to believe that a mortal man is going to stop climate change. No, I am not an AGW believer but I AM aware that the climate constantly changes in one way or another, Obama wanted people to believe that he was going to put a stop to that silliness. I don’t know how anyone who watched that acceptance speech could ever take him seriously.

By far the most frightening thing about both Bill Clinton and Barack Obama is that we have a huge mass of Americans who are unable to recognize a charlatan as a charlatan and they vote. My excuse for voting in the general for McCain is that I knew Obama would be even worse than McCain. Those who voted for Obama have no excuse other than willful blindness.

Two scandals that Alan Licht. of AU in DC said would not happen in the Bama Admin. and thus he would be re-elected. So now we have the green baloney one and the Holder Fast and Furious One. Both could spell electoral trouble for Bama and his Dem minions. Let us hope so.

And Mr. Kaiser, Obama's new pet BILLIONAIRE has OIL AND GAS interests????? Wait til Oba......never mind.

The Democrat party is a criminal enterprise. Capital punishment is required

If Justice were delivered, it wouldn't be called "capital punishment" it would remembered in the history books as the "Great American Purge" making Stalin and Mao's purges look trivial and the French Revolution as a union hall meeting.

The ZPG crowd should be happy with the idea.

To: Kaslin; All

This 400 Billion dollar thing that Obama is raving about is absolutely nothing but a campaign scheme to divert most of it through his unions partnerships and into his campaign funding.

Sure it will create jobs, Obama needs a campaign army to dominate the web.
