Mandeville, LA – A special 9/11 edition of Tom Gresham's Gun Talk radio this Sunday shares stories from the attacks and outlines plans each person can put into place to protect himself and his family in the event of future attacks.
One story which has never been told involves NYPD officers who were buried in the debris of the fallen towers, and how they were saved by shots fired from a 9mm pistol. One of those officers, John Tucci, joins host Tom Gresham with the first-person account that will leave listeners stunned.

Hand gun for home defense?
I think you have home defense covered.
I would look at a light revolver like the Ruger LCR or a light semi auto for out on the road.
Plus a Gun Vault under the desk, behind the curtains etc. etc...
I'd do 9mm tho, Glock G26 IMHO.
Actually you get +1 on both those.

I'm not black and blue today! LOL. The Limbsaver was a really great recoil limiter (thanks to all who gave me the tip). Now if only they would let me shoot from 100 yds while everyone else shoots from 200 yds, I might score closer to all the other guys! I know, I know... Practice, practice, practice.
One of the regular match participants was cream of the crop with a 270 (out of 300). It made my 169 almost laughable. But, as they all said, "If you had fun, will practice, come back and do this again, then it's all good".

Love the trigger! Single action feel all the time. Very accurate even at 25 yards. Stuck with the medium backstap, felt good right out of the box.
Shot over 300 rounds! Love that it comes with a speed loader and 3 mags plus a mailin for 3 more free. Got it for 540 plus tax.
I like the charging handle.
I never use the battery assist
I love a single action trigger.
