Can anyone contribute on this idea ...

Once you get behind on child support, etc, you WILL be denied a passport if applied for, or do they actually revoke passports if you already have one?

That's accurate, which is why I suggested to my friend he apply for a passport ASAP before TSHTF.

Also, if a person has professional licenses, one cannot renew them. Same thing with a driver's license in some states as well.

It fits the “evil plan”

1. Incent women to divorce their husbands at all costs.
2. Lots of women take you up on the offer causing a significant minority of the country’s marriages to end in divorce.
3. Nail the guys for hefty child support, though it is not enough for the woman to be beyond lower middle class or downright poor.
4. The financial burden on the husband also cripples him financially.
5. Take away his passport if he misses a single support payment because that identifies him as a “flight risk”.

The result: We all live in East Germany behind a big virtual wall, slaves to the state. Woo hoo!

It does look like someone almost planned it this way.
