Question about the Federal Reserve. Santorum first, would audit, do one charter about sound money. He'd cut capital gains to 0 to support manufacturing returning to the U.S.

Cain says it should be audited. Says fix the Fed, don't end it. Says return to sound money.

Bachmann says she wouldn't reappoint Bernanke mentions foreign banks using the Fed's discount window.

Wolf continues with the line Perry wants Bernanke tried for treason. Perry is clear the Fed should not be used for political purposes to cover over bad fiscal policy. Says transparency is a problem. Fed should be focused solely on strong money.

Newt dings GE for paying no taxes and Obama having GE's CEO at the job's speech. Wants to shrink gov't to fit income, not try to raise income to catch up to the size of government.

In a way, Newt is like the captain of a debating team, backing up his teammates by pointing out their good comments. The other team, of course, is the media.

Let’s face it ... Newt is over, too...

But Newt is the smartest person on the stage.

Newt’s only in this to be elder statesman and refocus things on what’s important...he just did it, by talking about energy.

Newt’s a giant personal hypocrite...but EVERYONE should read ALL his books.
