After reading Krugmans repugnant piece on 9/11, I cancelled my subscription to the New York Times this AM.--Donald Rumsfeld 52 minutes ago
Why did he even subscribe to that fishwrap?
That’ll show ‘em, Rummy!..........
The Slimes runs non-repugnant pieces? Who knew.
Good for him. Now if we could just find a way to cancel Paul Krugman.
So there is only like 2 people left with subscriptions to the Slimes?
I guess they’ll have to lay off more low level workers to keep their quality writers like Krugman and Dowd....
By my reckoning that should cut their revenue by 20%
Is the repugnant piece posted in FR?
Good for you Secretary Rumsfeld. I don’t know why anyone still subscribes to that sewer spewer.
Maybe I will get a subscription just so I can cancel.

Krugman was too much of a chickenshit to even take comments. Who dare question his lordship?
I’d like to see Drudge and FR ban any article by Krugman. Let him wither in his irrelevancy in his own diseased mind.
and we can’t forget that genius Tom Friedman
Several times. Here are two links. Comments are disabled at the NYT “For obvious reasons”.

THAT was RACIST!!!
ah... uhm.. nevermind :p
;^)
That would be a good way to start the day.
What the NYT puts in their opinion pieces is their business. What I have problems with is that it is hard to tell the difference between their news section and their opinion section.

I have always thought that people in positions of interest, influence or power have to subscribe to pieces of crap like the NYT, so that they can keep their finger on a pulse of some kind.
Hah, what a freudian slip there. As I was typing “pulse of some kind” I typed “pulse of SLIME kind”! Shoulda left it that way, I guess...:)
Thanks. Now I guess I have to get ready for some mega-barf-reading.
Good for Rumsfeld! We canceled our Boston Globe subscription in 1/03. I’ve never regretted it in the least.
Several times yesterday. Do a search on "Paul Krugman".
Krugman is chicken crap.
We can’t read garbage like that paper puts out without having it subconsciously affect us. We can get accurate news off the web, at sites like FR.
Krugman:
>>Im not going to allow comments on this post, for obvious reasons.
Fraidy cat. He knows he’s wrong deep down and doesn’t want to be shown that he is.
I cancelled the “Globe-Democrat” (as talk host Michael
Graham calls it) many years ago and only visit their website to see if I can grab articles of interest (usually moonbat crap though). Proud Herald subscriber for many years.
He also is not going to donate to NPR or PBS this year?
If the NY Slimes had any decency, they would fire Krugman.
The 1st Amendment does not guarantee every fringe quack a forum to publish their extremist, ignorant ideological doctrines.
The Slimes should say “You know what Paul, your right to say something does NOT mean we have to publish your hyper bigoted, ignorant nonsense. Start you own paper if you want to publish such rubbish”
My liberal sister in law was horrified when she discovered that we had canceled. She started referring to my husband (her brother) as “Tony Soprano”. :)
My parents started subscribing years ago, and they haven’t been the same since...
Because conservative news is hard to come by, we need to have a newspaper thread with only conservative papers listed. I’ll have to bookmark the Herald. Thanks!
Krugman’s article reeked of desperation. It’s apparent his hero Obama looks to be going down next year and it’s even more apparent we can finally bury the fallacy of Keynesian economics. On a purely superficial basis, Paul Krugman..really, this is to be the messaging by the DemonCrat Intelligentsia, he reeks of rumpled, academic, communista out of touch, from the salt and pepper beard with yesterday’s lunch in it to his beady eyes. I think he needs a literary persona, like Spengler, because I am sure beyond Berkley, Manhattan and New Haven the face of Paul Krugman elicits the gag reflex. Kinda fits in Michael Savage’s ugly man theory on why sexual denied men grow up to be angry liberals, they become homosexuals or become Paul Krugman.
Since the POS Krugman didn’t aglow comments on this article, the correct answer is to express our disagreement with this piece on every other piece he writes.
In other words, whatever he writes from here on out, flood the comments section with responses to this piece. Let’s make it his “little Eichmann” moment.
But...but...but now he won’t have cutting-edge fashion advice or suggestions on how to plan his vacations. How ever will he get by?
Sorry, an ad of the degenerate’s: simply depressing. I was surprised there is a conservative in Boston.
“..Why did he even subscribe to that fishwrap?...”
Know your enemy as well as you know yourself...
His parakeet must have died so he no longer needs the bird cage liner.
Looks like FR was down for some time. I was working outside, so did not miss much. One of our few liberal (thankfully) neighbors gets the NYT. He is the biggest idiot on our street.
Because he knows he is deliberately offending people and he is too chicken-shit to make a statement, then stand up to criticism of that statement. That's pretty obvious to me. Freakin' pansy. I guess expecting someone like Krugman to "man up" is asking a little too much.
Tony Soprano taught a generation of Americans how to be men ;-)
You would know. :)
Are you kidding? They probably give him a raise and threw him a small party...
Fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life, Paul.
Isn’t Krugman the rich kid NYT columnist that tried to say that Sarah Palin shot Gabrielle Giffords?
They seem to give Nobel prizes now to extra dumb people.
I’m surprised he had one in the first place, but is this front page news?
Old people like him still like the feel of a newspaper. They aren’t into electronics like young people.
GWB and Rudy never once called themselves heroes. Other people called them heroes because of what they saw these men do and by the actions they took. While Kruegman sat on his ass in front of a computer screen or more likely fled the city, others did the hard work so he could later write crap commentary from the safety of his luxury home.
