I suppose everyone has their price. But very few people at Perry’s level will sell their souls for a measly 5K contribution. Bachmann knows this.

I have no idea how her attack will play. I just know I was disappointed in her.

(BTW, I agree that the mandate was a mistake, even with the opt-out.)

We ALL agree the Gardasil thing was a terrible mistake. It did not pass. It was one of TWO terrible mistakes, the other being the TTCorridor. It did not pass either. TWO over the course of TEN years, still, ain’t that bad. Sarah should not climb on against the contenders until she is one in 2038. Purity will not win against entrenched Marxism, so for her to perch at loft and snipe is disgusting, and does NOTHING to enhance her fallen reputation as too soft to take fire herself. She got burned, unfairly, and ran. She got burned as governor, unfairly, and ran again. It’s over.

I am afraid Bachmann set herself up for trouble. In her zeal, she changed the issue from Perry's bad decision to an accusation of corruption. Perry accepted a $5000 contribution for a statewide race in a very large state and she tries to make the case that he sold out to Merck. Since she has raised huge sums for her congressional races, every favor she has done for a contributor will now be subject to question under the honesty standard she set tonight. Perry has never been shy about playing rough.
