Since September 2001, I’ve spent over 72 months deployed between AD then “retirement” in places such as Iraq, Kuwait, Afghanistan, Turkey, Ethiopia and Djibouti. Its blow back from stupid misguided interventions, picking one crappy place over the other, where we had no real national interest, but making money…case in point our recent involvement (and still ongoing) in Libya . Mark my words, Gaddafi was certainly no saint, but we were far off better with him in power than who will succeed him…
