CNN, where poor unwilling travelers at airports comprise 99% of their audience.

IE,

instead of cover words, they tell the truth.

We ARE referring to elitists as the enemy of freedom.
And rich [business] people ARE job creators.

Lewis Carroll nailed the Liberals - oops, I mean “Progressives”.

‘When I use a word,’ Humpty Dumpty said in rather a scornful tone, ‘it means just what I choose it to mean—neither more nor less.’

““High earners”=”the fortunate””

I would say it like this:

Hard working and responsible are always the fortunate or the privileged.

Lazy and irresponsible are the less fortunate, the needy, the underprivileged or the deserving.

Violent street criminals are always teens, youths or young people.

I could go on all day.

Agreed. I recently heard this: Intelligence is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is not put a tomato in your fruit salad.

Somehow the writer thinks that it is the republican’s fault that Obama chose not to use the word stimulus? Are the republicans controlling of his teleprompter? If the stimulus had worked, then Obama would be saying the word over and over.

What is he going to say? My stimulus plan increased unemployment! My stimulus plan kept the stock market from gaining value. My stimulus plan raised the price of a gallon of gas. My stimulus plan put millions of dollars into my re-election fund. My stimulus plan failed to create green jobs. My stimulus plan raised the cost of food. My stimulus plan caused democrats to lose the 2010 election. My stimulus plan raised the national debt by a trillion dollars. Congress needs to pass another stimulus bill!

It’s Obama’s fault that that he can no longer use the word stimulus because Americans now know what it means.

Manmade Global Warming was conflated into the term “Climate Change” because no one can dispute that climate changes - constantly. But the left uses the irrefutable term to refer to the questionable concept in order to further their agenda unopposed.

Of course there are “rain forests” instead of jungles now,
and “wetlands” instead of swamps,
and “homeless” instead of bums...

on and on.

I would assert that, like the words “liberal” and “progressive” are the “feel good” labels applied to communism,

“stimulus” was the word malapplied to a big government spending Keynesian boondoggle.

IE, OBAMA made the word “dirty” by applying it to the concreate reality of the policy.
The GOP did not “dirty” the word.

How about “Socialism” or “Marxism”?

He WANTS that, he just won’t SAY it.

Instead of "the rich," they prefer "job creators."

As opposed to all those poor job creators.

CNN, where poor unwilling travelers at airports comprise 99% of their audience.

Ironically, that's CNN's target audience, much the way TIME magazine's target audience is people waiting for a barber or orthodontist.

Actually, the more acurate term for “stimulus” is actually three words: “political slush fund”.
