Erskine Bowles joins Facebook board

By MICHELLE QUINN | 9/7/11 4:02 PM EDT

SAN FRANCISCO — Facebook has added another Washington hand to its leadership team: Erskine Bowles, former White House chief of staff under Bill Clinton, has joined the Facebook board of directors, the company announced Wednesday.

Bowles now serves as president emeritus of the 17-campus University of North Carolina system and recently was co-chairman of President Barack Obama’s bipartisan National Commission on Fiscal Responsibility and Reform.

It would take a lot more than that to get me to eat with him.

What kind of drooling goon would shell out that kind of cash to be seen with obama? Bet his guests aren’t spending their own cash.

I’d charge him a cool million at least. Plus medical expenses if I couldn’t keep dinner down due to his presence while I was eating.

Progressivism is an alliance of the rich and poor against the middle class.

I’d charge Obama at least 100k to dine with me, and even then, I’d likely just keep his money and not show up.

I can’t swallow food and look at him, I may choke.

It costs that much to clean up after him. He needs some lessons from Miss Manners.
