remember probably 10 years ago having a discussion with a Libertarian here at FR.
I asked him/her if they saw a person lying on the street:
1) Would you step over the person and walk on?
2)Would you call for help?

A false dichotomy and a stupid question.
Not all persons lying on the street are victims.
I can think of cases when I would choose one or the other without a second thought.

That's where real human beings are at their best. Not with slogans or bleeding hearts, but with rational thinking and a sense of judgement.

If you saw a person lying on the street dressed in a suit with blood on his head would you walk on by or would you get HIM help?
