any polling on this race?
I have NO confidence in West Virginia.
Whole state relies on coal to drive their economy and still voted for Joe Manchin as senator knowing he’d be another obammy butt boy.
Meanwhile obammy is trying to destroy the coal industry, thus the economy of the state.
In WV the republican nomination is a nomination for people who couldn’t win the democratic nomination.
Latest PPP poll (9/7) has Tomblin up by 6 - that’s not a big lead.

BILL MALONEY WINS DEBATE Tomblin Backtracks On Intermediate Courts; Defends Legality Of Gambling Machines, Greyhound Business
CHARLESTON -- Arguing that West Virginia can move forward from Earl Ray Tomblin's 36-year record of failed leadership, gubernatorial nominee Bill Maloney won tonight's debate sponsored by the West Virginia Broadcasters Association.
"Our state needs a proven job creator for governor, not a career politician," said Maloney. "West Virginia can be better than being ranked 49th in per capita income and 50th in the labor participation rate. We can't continue to kick the can down the road like we've been doing for the last 36 years. West Virginia needs honest leadership now and I'm ready to deliver."
Maloney reiterated his stance that he would not burden taxpayers in order to address the out-of-control debt that the career politicians made. He stood by his platform that by diversifying the economy and fixing the court and tax system, West Virginia will generate the income needed in order to be a more prosperous state.
"We currently have a culture of despair here for our kids," said Maloney. "We need to ensure that they have the job opportunities to stay here in West Virginia. The way to create more jobs is by getting government out of the way, and as Governor Mitch Daniels said, 'move at business speed, not government speed.'"
During the debate, Tomblin backtracked on the need for intermediate courts here in the state of West Virginia. In addition, Tomblin denied any fault for his family owing the City of Huntington seven years of back taxes despite it being reported that Earl Ray "kept the company books."
"The choice is clear," said Maloney. "If you believe our state could not be any better than it is today, then I'm not your guy. But if you're like me and are tired of being ranked at the bottom of almost every list, tired of seeing your children leave West Virginia to find jobs, tired of being tired -- I'm with you."
"My two daughters can't live in West Virginia anymore because of the lack of job opportunities," Maloney added. "I'm going to be a grandfather for the first time and it makes me sad to think that my first grandchild won't be able to grow up in West Virginia unless things change. West Virginia must move forward and, as governor, I will do exactly that."
The election is on Tuesday, October 4.

Praying for an upset. Tomblin has been running class warfare ads because Bill made money. His firm/he helped with the technology used to rescue the Chilean minors
He needs to run this again!
