I honestly don’t think Obama cares if he is re-elected or not. If he’s turned loose, the pressure will be off and he will still be set for life. He’ll spend the rest of his daze basking in the glow of being the first Black president and collecting hefty speaking fees. I’m sure Michelle will be happy that she not FLOTUS too. They won’t be moving back to Chicago’s south side—that’s for sure.

Obama, because he is such a disaster as a president, nobody with big dollars is going to want him to speak.
About the only people who will hear him out is in the black community, I reckon.
A lot of truth in what you say. Michelle hates being first lady (she said this to Carla Bruni and even Maureen Dowd has hinted at this) and Obama hates the job, too. (It’s hard!) They can retire young and spend the rest of their lives swanning around the globe (a la Bill Clinton), eating ice cream and lobsters. America - what a country!
I agree with everything in your post, except that I think he kicks Moochelle to the curb by 2014 or so. After the election is lost, but before he signs an 8-figure book deal for "My life as The First Black President, Volume 1".
