I haven't followed this story at all, so I'm late coming into the discussion. My question is: was that
"the whole deal": that Obama would use this as a pretext to suppress the 2nd Amendment? Or was there still more: getting the guns to criminals who were particular allies of his? Or making money shomehow through the transactions as the guns circulated in the networks?
What exactly was the whole intended gain for Obama?
