For those who are unaware, Joe McGinniss is the stalker/journalist who bought a house next to the Palins in 2010 for the obvious purpose of spying on them - which he denied - even while admitting to working on the book about Sarah Palin now being published. The Palins eventually choose to build a 14-foot fence around their property in Wasilla to keep the weasel away. For his part, McGinniss not only denied being a stalker, but went so far as to accuse the Palins and their political supporters of stalking him.

If a conservative writer ever did this to a Democrat... well, you know. The howls and shrieks of "invasion of privacy" and worse would have been deafening. Instead, the media either ignored the story or blamed the victims.

Joe McGinniss probably got an advance on his book and has to find someway to make his book sell. The stuff he writes sounds like he spent too much time in his bedroom fantasizing about Palin rather than doing any actual investigating.

The oil drum is funny but I'm surprised McGinnis didn't use a dead body of an Alaskan native who died from lack of health care because of the evil republicans.
