I really don't think Bachmann's position against state mandated vaccinations (with an opt out option) is deserving of all this outrage.
Especially not here.

I really don't think Bachmann's position against state mandated vaccinations (with an opt out option) is deserving of all this outrage. The point of the article is that she does not seem to be against ALL state mandated vaccines, nor even against ALL state mandated vaccines for sexually transmitted diseases. Her outrage seems to be limited to Gardasil, and that appears to be because she thinks she can gain a political advantage from it.

I oppose government mandating vaccinations, but I don’t think she is going to say that she opposes opt-out MMR, hepatitis, etc. forced on children through the government schools. In fact, I don’t think she does. We’ll see.

Well, I do. I was outraged by her attack on Perry on this issue. It was vicious and over the top and not supported by the facts.
You can find a study which will prove anything. The statistics she used have been proven flawed (to my satisfaction).
Apparently this is the main issue she and others can find to use against Perry. Which kinda says something good about him in my opinion.
That and distorting his stand about the border. Don’t come to Texas from Minnesota and pretend you know something about border issues.
