Michael Moore Describes Himself as 'Bigot' Against Wall Street By Brad Wilmouth Created 09/15/2011 - 8:43am

Appearing as a guest on Wednesday's Colbert Report on Comedy Central to plug his memoir, Here Comes Trouble, left-wing film maker Michael Moore used a provocative choice of words to describe his feelings toward Wall Street and conservatives who oppose regulations against businesses as he declared that "I'm a bigot against people like you that support Wall Street and corporations..."

Moore seemed to play along with host Stephen Colbert's regular shtick as an exaggerated conservative commentator, since the liberal activist smiled and laughed during much of the segment as he sparred with the faux-conservative over corporations.

Below is a transcript of the relevant exchange when Moore chose to describe himself as a "bigot":

STEPHEN COLBERT: What excites me about this is that parents can read this book, stories from your childhood, and use it as a cautionary tale to make sure our children don't turn into you because, Michael, you've got to know at this point it is over. Liberalism has lost, and you stand as a walking, living, breathing, cautionary tale. A decaying Don Quixote still tilting at his windmills. With every turn of the spar, you are driven down into the mud. Send yourself a letter while the post office is still here, Michael. It's over. It's over, Mickey. Your response.

MICHAEL MOORE: I'm afraid it's your side that's over. You have - your, not you personally, but your people -

COLBERT: Oh, "your people." That's racist. Go ahead, go ahead, yeah, yeah, you can't tell any Irish people apart. Go ahead.

MOORE: I'm a bigot against people like you that support Wall Street and corporations and (INAUDIBLE)

COLBERT: The job creators. You hate job creators. Go ahead.

MOORE: The job elimators, which iswhat your people are, and, yes, I am a bigot against all of you.

Must have been quite a show, an over-hyped, overrated, 3rd rate comedian interviewing an over-hyped, overrated, 3rd rate filmmaker.

So are we to assume that Moore’s money is all in US T bonds?

Bank CDs also wend their way to Wall Street through various offerings.

I think Moore is either completely and utterly stupid about his own finances, or so completely dumb about money that he keeps his in a variety of mayonnaise jars by his wood stove and solar collectors.

*no? He’s not into prepping? Well, then he depends on Wall Street for his power since the power companies are also listed.

I do know he eats. A lot. I don’t think he gets all his food from cooperatives or grows his own. He probably depends upon those companies listed on the Exchange.

His movies depend on Wall Street as much of the industry is listed.

I would like the banks reigned in and that isn’t happening, but for someone like Moore to eschew the finance sector as though he is not an active participant, well, that’s just specious.

You are a fraud, Moore.

Now, Woody Harrelson lives his credo. He’s a tad off-balance, but at least he lives whatever waffle he’s consumed.

Blah blah blah, Stephen Colbert, blah blah.

True. He can be very funny at times, but blah blah.

Michael Moore is just another leftist liar.

Well, at least he is being honest about his bigotry. Unfortunately, the rest of the libtards are not. However, what this does is open a conversation. Moore is stating that bigotry is really okay. It only depends on who is in power and controls the media. The concept that denigrating individuals because of who they are not what they do is perfectly acceptable. This is a revelation from the left. It has always been there but now Moore has uttered those sentiments.

I’m sure Wall Street is shaking in its boots while helping Moore to count his money.

A guy with a rear end large enough to need its own zip code is hardly in a position to complain about big anything whatsoever (whether it is big corporations or anything else).

What he shovels down for lunch would be enough to keep a starving African village alive for a week.

(I will admit these are ad-homs rather than legitimate arguments, but hey, this is Michael Moore that we’re talking about, which makes it perfectly acceptable, m’kay?)

He was on the show selling his book!
moore is a capitalist pig in that he profits from his ‘schtick’. Until he takes a vow of poverty and shares his own wealth, he is another PT Barnum.

Lard@$$ needs to learn to spell, the word that best describes him starts with M A G, not B I.

Although I’m certain bigot is also quite accurate for the propaganda minister from Nal Hutta.

You read it right. In Thicko's case, "bigot" is a shortened form of "big idiot":

"Yes, it's true, I'm a big'ot."
