What should the White House do? Panic!
CNN ^ | Sept. 15, 2011 | James Carvlle

Posted on 09/15/2011 7:50:16 AM PDT by Rennes Templar

(CNN) -- People often ask me what advice I would give the White House about various things. Today I was mulling over election results from New York and Nevada while thinking about that very question. What should the White House do now? One word came to mind: Panic.

We are far past sending out talking points. Do not attempt to dumb it down. We cannot stand any more explanations. Have you talked to any Democratic senators lately? I have. It's pretty damn clear they are not happy campers. This is what I would say to President Barack Obama: The time has come to demand a plan of action that requires a complete change from the direction you are headed.

I don't know how else to break this down. Simply put: 1. Fire somebody. No -- fire a lot of people. This may be news to you but this is not going well. For precedent, see Russian Army 64th division at Stalingrad. There were enough deaths at Stalingrad to make the entire tea party collectively orgasm.

-snip-

Mr. President, people are livid. Tell people that you, too, are angry and sickened by the irresponsible actions on Wall Street that caused so much suffering. Do not accept excuses. Demand action now.

As I watch the Republican debates, I realize that we are on the brink of a crazy person running our nation. I sit in front of the television and shudder at the thought of one of these creationism-loving, global-warming-denying, immigration-bashing, Social-Security-cutting, clean-air-hating, mortality-fascinated, Wall-Street-protecting Republicans running my country.

The course we are on is not working. The hour is late, and the need is great. Fire. Indict. Fight.

Don’t listen to Carville, Obama. You keep doing what you’re doing. In fact, double down! This guy doesn’t realize what you’ve done to, I mean, for America. He’s just an old, baldheaded Democrat who’s angry Hillary isn’t President. You keep going the direction you’re headed. And don’t fire anybody. Keep that same group you have. That black AG is doing a great job for blacks. He should stay cause you really need that black vote next year. They won’t mind that 50% unemployment rate cause there’s plenty of welfare money, free healthcare, free education, all kinds of entitlements for them. Who needs a job anyway when you’ve got the govment payin your bills. Right?

James is wrong on two counts, we do have a crazy person running the country-Obama, and he will be fired in about 14 months! LOL PS it snowed in Colorado, probably due to Glo-Bull warming!

"Can anybody explain WTH this means?!"

The other nifght in the debate, when Rick Perry asked "Should we just let the uninsured guy die?", one guy in the audience yelled "YAHH!!!" and a few others cheered and clapped. So the new Liberal memé is that TEA Partiers like it whebn people die.

...the irresponsible actions on Wall Street that caused so much suffering....
Poor James, still a die hard for his Party.
Have you forgotten, James, that it was your fellow Democrats who forced through legislation that allowed risky home loans in the first place?
Besides, I just don't think the "disparage Wall Street" tactic is going to work any more. The hand down the front pocket of the Democrats pants is Wall Street's hand and people realize that.

Your post correction makes a good case for an “edit” button here on the FR. I know I could have used one many, many times.

The snip removed the line where he says the body count at Stalingrad would have caused the Tea Party to have an orgasm.

Snakehead is still snakehead, after all.

Stick to your rationale for what has happened and what is going to happen under your leadership. You must carry this through until the election (never say that things are improving because evidently they are not).

Yes, of course. Say what happened but don't admit you are responsible for any of it. Acknowledge that things are going to hell in a handbasket. Oh, and keep telling us how you're going to fix the things that are not your fault except for the evil Republicans, who were given a mandate in 2010 to stop you, who are the basic problem. They are dangerous.

This should work well.

Fire a lot of people? Like who?

And just who is going to do the firing?

And who is going to do the rehiring?

And just who will replace those fired?

This WH is so dysfunctional that they could never accomplish any of these things.

4077 comments at CNN on Carvell’s article at the time of posting this, and almost all are anti-Rat, anti-Obama.

My fav comment there points out that if we just fire Obama the rest of those that need firing and indicted will automatically take place.

Barry better watch his back, ‘cause he is about to be thrown under the bus!

‘The Obama Legacy’

Let the political games begin. Many Democrats, both voters and elected officials, are beginning to wish they had never heard of one Barack Hussein Obama. What appeared initially to be “The One” has morphed into “The None.”

Behind the scenes, Democrats will be working furiously to get rid of this impostor.

According to the snake, TEA baggers get their rocks off by watching people being slaughtered.

Carville doesn't understand we really only get our rocks off watching the late term abortion by inserting scissors into the back of the baby's head and sucking it's brains out. That really makes us horny.

The legislation didn’t just “allow” risky home loans - it MANDATED them.

If he fires Holder I suspect a whole lot of drek and sewage will suddenly fall out of the closet whose door Holder has been firmly holding shut.
