We cancelled our account, but it had less to do with the price change and more to do with the jerk-off tone of the email they sent to inform us of the change. I feel if you are going to raise prices or change terms, you should at least pretend that you care about your customers when you tell them. Instead, we got a terse, arrogant email about it. So we dumped them.

They sent me a please come back email the other day, but with no incentive to do so, so they clearly still aren't getting the message. Good riddance. Their stream content stinks, and their DVD service had slowed dramatically. We got Apple TV and use Redbox. No regrets.

I've been noticing over the last few weeks that DVD's that used to arrive back to netflix the next day are now taking 2-4 days to arrive. So the throttling is back

I still have one month left to go on a gift card, but come Oct 31st, I will be cancelling.

Ridiculous for the price jump, but for me, it's now the throttling --- so stupid.
