The only bridge I’ve heard of recently that is in big trouble is the Sherman-Minton Bridge in Louisville. Back in Feb 2009, the bridge took a barge strike, and this apparently caused serious damage that is just now making itself known. The bridge has been shut down, causing severe traffic congestion, as this is the main route over the Ohio River for I-64.
not to worry, louvul got a new arena instead of a couple new bridges that the fed donated cash toward a decade ago...
