I don't think Palin would make that mistake again; it was the inept McCain campaign that gave her bad advice. Her biggest liability would be experience, a long track record of economic growth, and that's where 3-term Perry is superior.

And if she does win the nom, then Rubio is completely out as a VP choice in my opinion (very appealing but equally inexperienced). At a time of looming financial crises she'd almost be forced to pick someone like Mitt, and most likely Mitt himself.

That said, if she announces, I'd like nothing better than to see Palin do an end run around the Lame Stream Media, bypass them entirely, win it all through the grassroots, and kill the LSM's power forever. It'll be tough. We'll see.

RIP, rfp1234. You used Palin and Romney in the same sentence.

Actually, I don't think there is any chance at all that she would choose Romney OR Giuliani. She would have no interest whatsoever in "balancing" her ticket. But you're right. We're all just going to have to wait and see!
