Somehow I doubt Mrs. Judd’s grandmother had any problem at all answering little Johnnie’s question in December 1951: “Mrs. Judd, why did the Japs bomb Pearl Harbor?”
Odd, no one seemed to struggle in the late 40”s and into the 50’s and 60’s with lessons from Pearl Harbor!
They also are aware that withholding the full truth is a form of lying, whether the person telling it is aware or not that it isn't truthful.
They also know what political correctness is and that it is a form of lying.
