What do her personal beliefs have to do with her research work in a controlled laboratory setting? What impact does her thought on socialized medicine have on her published, peer-reviewed, and replicated research in a controlled setting using the Scientific Method?
Luddite is a pejorative so over used it no longer maintains its original meaning. I would compare it to the same way liberals scream 'racist'.
I deliberately used Luddite because YOU were misusing it yesterday, FRiend. Was it an old term yesterday, or are you just a bit embarrassed that you didn't know what it actually meant? Or were you just calling people "racists"?

IF you think ones personal beliefs have NO standing in who gets published and government funding then you know less that about the subject that you are spouting. AND I do not think you know who controls university settings.
The Luddites of the 19th century were a 'social' group destroying mechanized equipment to 'save' their jobs. So who is in the 'saving' business these days? There is NO correlation to a person who is required to sign a release that lets off the hook any liability for drug manufacturers who produce vaccines that are 'state' mandated.
NOW the dirty little secret is while possible side affects and reactions are given in the very fine and small print, the prescribing physician always minimizes the percentage of such affects and reactions. NOW just attempt to PROVE side affect/reactions. I get so 'sick' of television ads for the latest drug/vaccine for this or that, followed by an even longer warning as to possible side affects. Then followed by some law firm offering legal advice to collect $$$$ because of negative reactions.
Big state/drug/medical is NOT pure as the wind driven snow NO matter how much they wrap themselves in a 'saving' grace.
