Tip O'Neill is famously quoted as having said, "All politics is local." I'll go one better. All politics is personal. One notes that people finally got really angry and started the Tea Party because Obama's vicious fascism had arrived at their own doorsteps. THEY suddenly were to lose their preferred health insurance. THEY were suddenly to have their taxes raised. THEY were suddenly to be victimized by Obama's vile racism. THEIR private farms were suddenly made illegal. THEY were suddenly to be ordered what to give their kids for school lunch. THEY lost their own jobs because of Obama's gangsterism and Soviet-style cronyism. And it just gets worse.
I see a conflict for 2012 that will, in some instances, become violent as the Union Thugs, Obama Government Racists, and The Rancid Media go ballistic on conservatives. I also see Obama's popularity in the 20s by the election. The Chinese curse, "May you live in interesting times" has come true.
How many unemployed Americans will figure out that Obama’s policies have made it impossible for them to find a job—by discouraging businesses from hiring new people by ObamaCare, regulations, tax policies, favoritism towards the unions, and anti-business demagoguery?
