There's one constant of Freerepublic, whenever there's a thread about a poll, guaranteed within 5 posts someone will immediately claim it's a fraud and by the time the thread is over there will be 10-20 similar posts.

Rush Limbaugh and Mark Levin could conduct the poll it wouldn't matter, if it didn't show something like Sarah Palin winning the election 60% - 40% there would still be Freepers who would post here claiming Rush & Mark are sell outs or they oversampled Black Jewish Lesbians or something similar.

Being accurate on election day doesn't prove that a pollster is accurate way before an election.

I haven’t trusted Rasmussen since 2009. During the first year of Obama’s term Rasmussen was the first to show his approval dropping (and fast). The white house went on the offensive against him specifically and suddenly Obama’s numbers began to moderate.

We are now 2 years later and Obama has become much less popular among ALL demographics, yet Rasmussen shows his approval to be essentially unchanged from 2 years ago. Rasmussen went from one of the lowest approval ratings to now having pretty much the highest. I do not buy what Rasmussen is trying to push...

He is always in the tank for the GOP establishment. He only tightens up his numbers or gives accurate numbers the closer he gets to election day. He really creamed Scott Brown before the election. We were all shocked at his numbers we knew they were a big fat lie.

The establishment GOP is in the tank for Mittens...so you'd see skewed numbers like this. When in fact, Perry's numbers are probably above Obama's and Mittens numbers are below Perry's numbers.
