Rasmussen Daily Index Ping.

Still more noise, I think.

Simply confirms what I’ve thought all along: 23% of the US population is brain dead.

That's a rock bottom estimate. From the poll, 45% "at least somewhat approve."

“23% of the US population is brain dead.”

It’s a glass half full thing. The bad news is that the share is that high: I’d feel better if it were only 5-10%.

The good news is that these clueless folks only represent less than half of the total number of Americans who do not pay income taxes (and hence don’t feel any particular need to engage their brains when it comes to matters political and/or don’t have any brains with which to earn income in the first place). We need to cross our fingers that the remaining half of non-payers of income taxes don’t mirror them in mindless strong approval of the worst president in the past century.

A new low cycle seems to have been reached at 43-45% approve, with 55-56% disapprove. One more Solyndra will permanently put him under 40%, although already I think he’s in a hopeless position politically.

0bama must do something seriously embarrassing and stupid to lose some of his soft support. His bad policy moves matter little to the soft supporters. The drones will never leave him even if 0bama committed a pedophile act on live tv.
Let’s hope the depression gets the better of him for the sake of the country.

I never thought much about Obama dropping below 45%, given the nation itself is so divided, but by golly when Ras had him at 43% I knew he was dang sure at 43%. So, if he could get down there in the lower 40’s, tell me, how has he eeked up to 45% with the Gunrunner showing the incompetency and Solyndra showing the corruption? If he can get to 45 now, he can be good for gaining another 5 by election day and win the dang thing. He is a phenomenon and so are the voters who clank when they vote for him.

I pray you are correct. Even his core constituents are beginning to figure out that he's a total failure.

I really think that, other than the usual vacant cranium crowd, a goodly number of Americans believe:

a) No person proffered as a candidate for President and apparently acceptable to “knowledgeable” people in government & media would EVER wish the destruction of our way of life;
b) They could not be duped so easily in having voted for him.

Sadly, we’re reaping what they’ve sown...

Gee, isn’t that the truth. Don’t we all know some “good” people who were taken in. Talk about a compelling candidate, with generational cool, he was one and had it. And the “ick” factor for McCain was plenty palpable which added plenty of muscle to the lever going the other way. This will be a DIFFERENT election entirely by just those two factors alone. I hope Rick runs well, as the nation is crying for someone with confidence in themselves and in the Republic, in states rights and a few other important things.

PS. If Rubio turns out to be a loyal protoge of Jeb and the Bush machine I am starting to wonder what that might mean? This guy is slick and certainly competent, but almost too much so. I have one hair standing up on the back of my neck as I pair him up with Perry. I suppose Rick won’t pick him either, unless he must for Florida. Who knows though, Jeb may embrace Rick. Politics makes funny allignments.

When the SHTF you'll be able to meet some of those 23%. They'll be showing up at your house looking for something to eat and for anything they deem you don't really need.

It will be grim no doubt. A combination of a zombie film and ‘1984.’
