Jimmy Carter would be 'pleased' with nominee Romney
Politico ^ | 9/15/11 | Alexander Burns

From the department of unhelpful praise, former President Jimmy Carter tells Rachel Maddow he's a-ok with the idea of Mitt Romney as the GOP presidential nominee.....

But this isn't the first time Carter has given generous quotes about one of Obama's challengers. Back in May, he said in a CNN interview that Jon Huntsman was "very attractive to me personally" as a White House contender.

So Carter’s got the hots for Huntsman and thinks Romney can’t win in the Christian south as a Mormon. So he’ll promote them both all the way.

Jon Huntsman was "very attractive to me personally"

Did you commit adultery in your heart again, Jimmy?

Amen. If Carter likes him, I don’t.

(Not that I ever did, but still...)

Do you think Jimmy’s smart enough to think something through to that extent?

Carter knows Obama isn’t likely to win, so he’s trying to grease the skids for two RINOS who are no more than democrats.

I don’t think Carter is thinking deviously at this point. (I don’t think he’s smart enough). Libs often seem obvious to their effect on others. Many of them seem to believe their own propaganda.

Carter planted the kiss of death on Romney!

The second worse president America has had endorsing a Republican candidate to run against America's worse president.

In Re: The next Repubican Debate

My suggestion: remind everyone every chance you get that Jimmy Carter has endorsed the nomination of Romney. That should speak volumes to the Repubican party.

I second that, to be praised by the absolute worst president of modern times, is catastrophic.
