Howie isn't famous like Rush, so he can't get the wonderful Mark Steyn to be his guest host.

Steyn said (on Howie Carr), or at least inferred that his contract with Rush prohibits "outside" jobs in radio.

Rush dropped that guy in San Diego that went into syndication, and the guy in Cleveland that replaced Drudge's Sunday night show in many places as well.

Otherwise, he'd probably do it, since his NH broadcast location is part of the Howie Carr syndication.
